I teach at an old fashioned one room church school and live right next door. Yesterday, I decided to bring Lucas to school with me so he wouldn't have to be in the dog crate. It worked really well so I'll probably bring him for the rest of the year, we have five weeks left. He's enjoying climbing on everything, snoozing, and playing with whatever he can find.
Whoa...I didn't know there was a hundred trillionths place!"
"What do you mean there's no nap time scheduled?"

Hi Lucas & Mom! Scooby, Shaggy & Scout sent us too! You two are the purrfect fit for each other - a kitty who needs special care and a furry special, wonderful Mom to care for him! Lucas looks like a sweet guy, we are so glad that he picked just the right purrson who wouldn't be afraid or unwilling to help him! Let us know if you need anything.

That is so cool bringing him to school (and that your principal lets you). What better way to teach kids about kindness to creatures than the example of a living breathing needy kitty. Hopefully this example will inspire another generation in the cause for animals. sss's mom
Since it's a one room school, I am the principal! It works out nicely :)
Somebody better teach those kids that after trillion, there squillions. A cat's work is never done.
Hi, Lucas & Mom (and rest of family) - we think you are both wonderful. Lucas for not giving up and your Mom for being such a caring person.
